I have been making pottery for 25 years and for the past several years I have been living the “island life”, which has given me a lot of inspiration for my work with clay. I make every day functional pottery; anything from a simple bowl to dinnerware decorated with playful crabs, turtles, shrimp, dolphins and other ocean life. I enjoy making pieces that can be used daily.

Each piece is handmade either on my potter’s wheel or slab roller, hand painted and fired in my kiln. The pieces may vary ever so slightly in size. I use a stoneware clay body and lead-free glazes that are safe to use in the microwave, oven and dishwasher.
