Call for patrons For donations at any of the levels described below, download the sponsorship form in Adobe Acrobat PDF here. You can mail your form to the above TAA PO Box or contact one of the TTT participants mentioned in these pages. Go the “Full Turtle”: You bought an original piece of art, part of the first public art festival on Tybee. You contributed toward saving Tybee’s turtles, and you shaped the direction of your community. The Tour coordinators will provide an artist from their pool, pay the artist an honorarium, and mount your turtle on a pedestal. The Turtle will be dedicated to you and placed in a public spot. Your turtle will be on display all winter with your name on a plaque. Your name will be listed on maps and materials throughout the winter long tour. Full turtle sponsors have the option of having a company logo artistically incorporated into the design. After the Turtle Tour, you have a choice: you may keep your turtle, or offer it up for auction with the proceeds to go to your favorite Tybee charity. The cost for "Full Turtle" support is $5,000. Full Turtle sponsorship details Do Your Own Turtle: Just like “Full Turtle” except you find your own artist. The payment to the artist is your responsibility. Also, as with the Full Turtle, artistic inclusion of a logo as part of the turtle design will be allowed. Buy a piece of public art that will be prominently displayed on Tybee. And when the party is over, the fine turtle goes home with you. Or, you may auction it off at your own benefit or for the charity of your choice. $4,000 Do your own Turtle sponsorship details Rent a Turtle: You may not be able to spring for the “Full Turtle”, but you want to see them hanging around. This will enable you host a turtle at your commercial establishment, although you will not have the option of specifying design details, such as inclusion of your logo. Turtles must be in a public place where they are free to the public. As unplaced turtles become available, you may give one a home for the winter. Watch the public gathering and consider the possibility of going “Full Turtle” next year. Subject to available Turtles and suitable location. $3,000. Rent-a-Turtle sponsorship details Turtle friends can donate $1,000 to the effort in exchange for listings in various Turtle Tour publications and our undying gratitude.
