Acting and Improv Workshop for Adults.


This two week workshop will offer the seasoned or novice actor a comprehensive study in the art of acting. The workshop will introduce the basic principles of theater and stage presence with focus on the Stanislavski and Meisner methods of acting.  Actors will  have the opportunity to learn the many techniques and tools of theater to further develop their acting skills  using  physical, mental and vocal exercises, improvisation, scene work, theater games and more. Act out!

Experience the whole artistic process of the actor. Learn the craft of acting by studying the techniques and tools used in developing the many physical and mental talents of the actor. We will work on preparing these our actors for the performances with acting lessons, theatre techniques, mental and physical theatre exercises, theatre games, improvisation, audition material, rehearsals, and MORE!

You will get hands-on experience working on the stage, auditioning for a part, preparing for a role, character development and motivation, and theatre makeup and costumes. Director Renee’ DeRossett has worked as an Animal Wrangler in the film industry for many years; therefore, the campers will also learn how to work with animals on a stage or film set.


It doesn’t matter whether you have acting experience, or if you've never been on a stage before. Adults of all ages will come away from this workshop with tools and knowledge they will find helpful in whatever path they take in life.
