The Tybee Art Association’s
Tybee Summer Theater Camp For Kids 2017
June 12- 23
For Ages 6 - 16

Kids from 6-16 are invited to join Directors Renee’ DeRossett and Kim Trammell for a two-week Acting Camp this summer from June 13th - June 23rd. Theater Camp will be held daily from 9am -3pm, Monday - Friday at the Tybee Arts Center 7 Cedarwood Avenue. There will be a final camp production on the last day of Camp Friday June 23rd in the Tybee Arts Center on the Jim Ingham Black Box Theater stage.

Campers will spend two weeks, learning and exploring the art of theater!   They will study the craft of acting by learning and exploring the basic principles and techniques of theater with theater games and exercises as well as lessons in acting, improvisational theater and more!

Theater Camp on Tybee also means going outside everyday to enjoy the creative inspiration on our Tybee beaches and Parks.

It doesn’t matter whether your child has acting experience, or if they’ve never been on a stage before. Kids of all ages will come away from this camp with the tools and knowledge they will find helpful in whatever path they take in life.
