Amazing American Artists!

During this session young artists 1st – 5th grade, will create artworks inspired by famous American artists who explore color, celebrate uniqueness, innovate with paint and depict familiar scenes. We will study painters like Wayne Thiebaud, Grandma Moses, John Singer Sargent and more. Students will have fun learning about American artists and creating their own amazing art! Fine art vocabulary, styles and techniques will be incorporated, while focusing on individual expression. During this session we will explore acrylic paint, watercolors, tempera paint, oil pastel, collage and mixed media.
