 Workshop Description:

A two day oil painting workshop in which you’ll learn my techniques for painting still lifes in a very expressive impressionistic style. 

In this two day workshop I'll show you the techniques and underlying concepts I use to paint still lifes in this exciting and expressive impressionistic style.  This approach involves applying paint with a fully loaded brush or knife over layered washes of thinly applied transparent darks and finishing with an edgework blowout!  You will not only be taught techniques specific to this approach, but will also find this workshop to be a great opportunity to deepen your understanding of the fundamental “planes” that exist in nature, regardless of subject matter.  It's a fun,simplified approach to painting objects, and is a lot easier than you might think.   

This workshop is for oil painting.
